Laguna Lake Men's Club Handicaps
For February 2010
We assign a handicap the second time a score is recorded and they are updated monthly. We compute handicaps based on par (29). For handicapping purposes we reduce all scores to double bogey before computing. Since the course is not rated we use a 90% factor. A golfer had an average of 39. We subtract 29 (par) and multiply the difference by .9. The resulting handicap would be 39-29 = 10 times .9 = a 9 handicap.
